Questions
  1. What is a FAQ?
    • FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions. As questions are sent we will compile a list of the more frequent question here! This will allow you to check the website for quick answers before needing to contact an individual.

  2. What is standard on a Rocky Ridge Custom Home?
    • Standard finishes in a Rocky Ridge Development home will typically include hardwood floors throughout the first floor and stairway along with the upper hallway, granite counter-tops in the kitchen, tile flooring in the laundry and bathrooms (first floor powder room is usually hardwood), tilt-in double hung windows, custom 42" maple cabinets, adult height vanities, separate tub and shower in the master-bath, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and family room, a generous lighting allowance, stainless steel appliance package [excluding refrigerator], [2] hosebibbs outside, tray ceiling in master-bedroom if plan allows, some custom trim and mill-work, spindled stairs, walk-in closet(s) in master-bedroom, along with maintenance free siding with shutters in front of house, and a fully sodded yard.  Some of the standards do depend upon the plan you choose.

  3. How long will it take to build my custom home?
    • Generally, it takes about 4-6 months weather permitting.  We try to build quickly and efficiently but we don't want to cut any corners.  Quality sometimes takes time and many decisions are going to have to be made in order to progress the building.  We work with our clients personally, walking them through the process and attending meetings and finish selections as needed.  We do our best to meet any deadlines our clients may have and are cognizant that other homes may need to be sold and moved out of in a timely manner.

  4. How much will it cost?
    • The cost depends on the size, location and finishes selected for the home.  Generally, once a plan is selected, a square foot price is set with allowances for cabintry, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting etc.
